Assign Package Type and Weight

You can now assign a package type in Selro so when creating your shipments the weight of the packaging will be automatically added in for you. 

To set up the package type please follow the steps outlined below:

Click on your username in the top right hand corner of your account-> click settings-> select the shipping tab-> select packaging-> select new packaging group -> and finally new packaging type 

The below window will then appear:

Here you can enter the total order wight in the from weight and to wight fields. Then when adding this packaging type to your shipping rule the packaging weight you enter will be automatically added onto the order wight total. 

If you prefer to assign the packaging type manually not using the shipping rules you can leave these 2 fields empty. 

When generating your shipping labels you will now see the option pictured below so you can assign the packaging type and weight to be added to the order. (If you have set up this feature in your shipping rules this box will be prepopulated)
